Monitoring report on the Armenia-EU agreement on the facilitation of the issuance of visas released

The fifth Monitoring Report on the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia on the Facilitation of the Issuance of Visas prepared by the Analytical Centre on Globalization and Regional Cooperation (ACGRC) is now available on the Panel’s website.

The Report focuses on the implementation of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia on the Facilitation of the Issuance of Visas and the Agreement on the Readmission of Persons Residing without authorization. The Project included a comprehensive overview of the process of obtaining short-term EU entry visas (only visas with a validity of up to 90 days), irregular migration, the readmission of persons residing without authorization, reintegration, passports, personal data, and other aspects. The monitoring carried out in 2018 and the collected materials have helped to identify the key issues, as well as certain conclusions and recommendations, which are presented at the end of the Report.
